Random Search Selector – Hand Held Battery Powered Unit

The Random Search Selector – offer a simple. reliable and guaranteed Unbiased way to select persons (from a group) to be searched (when it is either impractical or undesirable to search everyone).

The Random Search Selector comes complete with a detachable wall or desk mounting bracket. Offering reliable performance from it’s internal processor it also features a ruggedized battery housing and easier access to the selection rate dipswitches.

Although designed primarily as a versatile and mobile battery powered unit. the new unit also incorporates a power input socket for an external 12v power. which allows the unit to be powered from a mains supply if preferred source (a 13amp adaptor type universal 12v power supply is required).

This battery powered Random Search Selector operates is powered by 3 x AA batteries which typically offer over 12 months operation (a fresh set of batteries will typically offer up to 50.000 activations of the Search or Pass Button or up to 2 years standby).

Designed originally for use with vehicle / driver selection. for search or inspection activity. this versatile unit has also been adopted for a wide range of other applications. The internal dipswitch settings determine the search selection rate (from 0-100% in 5% increments). whilst the robust 50mm(diam.) push button is the trigger mechanism
